Goodbye Kennes
Hey family and friends! Today is Sunday and you
know what that means! Bus tours! Everybody went on one of eight different tours
exploring different aspects of life and culture within Jerusalem. I went on the
“Where do we draw the line”. On this tour we walked around outer Jerusalem and
discussed a large amount of “conflicts” within Israel’s capital. Our tour guide
was very well informed and taught us many interesting facts about each of the
topics discussed. We also found a little milk-bar that sold ice-creams for a
quarter of the price of anywhere else we had found them. Although the bus tours
were great, the real highlight of the day was the closing ceremony and closing
Kennes party. All of the 13 diaspora all came together, had a big party and
celebrated the closing of an incredible weekend. A big thanks to everybody at
Kennes. We can’t wait to see all of our new friends at Congress! xoxo Gandalf
